About the OMILAB Node

The Forschung Burgenland / University of Applied Sciences Burgenland OMiLAB Node is focusing on digitalisation research projects in the fields of Business Process Management, Cloud Computing, Cyber-Physical Systems and the Internet of Things.
In this regard we are investigating techniques and approaches how a non-digitised object/process/technology could be successfully transferred into the digital domain and how we could learn from its produced and consumed data. Furthermore, we also focus on creating digital twins from physical objects which can be analysed, simulated and optimised in the virtual realm.

About the Hosting Organisation

The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (FH Burgenland) was founded in 1993 and offers a wide range of Bachelor and Master programs in the fields of economy, information technology, energy and environment and healthcare. The Forschung Burgenland is a subsidiary company of the University of Applied Science Burgenland which focuses on research and innovation projects in the fields of building technologies, energy and environmental technologies and smart computing continuum.
