About the OMILAB Node
The OMiLAB Node at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences was created to enhance research and practice related to participation-oriented transformational processes of organisations. In the midst of the Industrial Region South Westphalia, this node provides an opportunity for enterprises and students alike to utilize co-creative conceptual modelling to explore pathways and solutions creating local, organisational and regional resilience and enabling change.
By linking technological development with social, organisational and sustainability perspectives, OMiLAB@FH-SWF fosters responsible innovation and change. We apply the domain specific conceptual modelling approach to trigger change-enabling for diverse stakeholders in sociotechnical transformation. OMiLAB@FH-SWF has a strong background in human-robot and human-autonomy teaming to ensure collaboration for human-centred, inclusive and sustainable work design.

About the Hosting Organisation
The South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is a regional university with five campuses and a strong focus on engineering and business administration. Through the training of academic professionals and its research and knowledge transfer activities, the university has made significant contributions to the competitiveness and transformative capacity of the economy in South Westphalia for many years. Workshop “Creating a Digital Twin for the South Westphalian Automotive Industry Eco-System”
Illustration of the South Westphalian Automotive Industry Eco-System, identifying actors and interdependencies in between them. Further examination of roles and potentials of individual actors within the system, with focus on universities as providers of research and education in the region. Exploration of possible strategies to improve internal processes of universities in alignment with needs of the Eco-System, including methods to reach target audience and optimize low-threshold cooperation.
