CoDEMO Webinar #2

Examples of OMiLAB Educational Utilization at OMiLAB@ULBS

Date/Time: April 18, 2024; 13:00 - 13:45 CET
The European project CoDEMO fosters the development of 5.0 innovation capabilities in 3 main activity sectors Industry, Healthcare, and Agritechnology. The first objectives of CoDEMO EU project are:
(i) to boost socio-economic collaborations on 5.0 innovations by creating 6 national innovation networks and laboratories for 5.0 value co-creation projects and the production of 24 case studies and
(ii) to create a unique European Open Badge Certification for Decision-Makers for 5.0 Organizations (Delivery curricula in 6 countries).

All the Value Co-Creation laboratories for CoDEMO use the same infrastructure, namely the Digital Innovation Environment powered by OMiLAB. The webinar focuses on the deployment of one of this collaborative laboratory.

The ULBS OMiLAB node has been set up since December 2019 and focuses on modeling, simulation, and optimization of manufacturing systems and processes, and optimizing smart cities-specific processes like smart parking, air quality monitoring, etc.

You are invited to explore in this webinar the following applications realized in the lab in Sibiu, Romania:
  • Automation of assembly lines assisted by a robotic arm and a mobile robot
  • Parking of a mobile robot using modeling languages
  • Modelling and simulation of an automated system in an agricultural warehouse
  • Dealing with deadlock situations of autonomous mobile robots
  • Office ergonomics and environment monitoring system
The ULBS team organizing and presenting: Professor Adrian FLOREA, Associate Professor Daniel MORARIU, Eng. Aida-Mihaela MANTA, Eng. Melisa-Cristina STOISOR, and Eng. Andrei PĂTRĂUȘANU.
